How a day works
Do Now
A warm-up the moment you sit down: one item from an earlier day, one exam-style question, one quick trace.
Textbook
Learn it. Today’s lesson, like a textbook: what you are learning to do, the idea with figures and diagrams, a problem worked step by step, then one problem the class works out together. It stays open for review at textbook.muggsofcompsci.net.
Scrum pod
Try it together. One challenge built on the class problem: you work it on your own screen and talk it through with your table. Then the class goes over it. Practice, no code.
We Do / You Do
Do it alone. Part A with help, then Part B on your own, built like exam items. Stretch jobs if you finish early.
Exit Ticket
Show it. A few exam-style items that show what you learned today. Opens at minute 75, only in class.
Your codes
Each block ends in a code, like DN-1.2-K4Q-X7M: Do Now, Week 1, Tuesday.
Click Copy & Submit Code. The course form opens with your code filled in. Submit it, and Google emails you a copy. That email is your record.
Never share a code. Three codes a day: Do Now, We Do / You Do, Exit Ticket.

Every day’s reading, Do Now and We Do / You Do stay open. Open the day below, start with the reading, and do the blocks any time, from any device. Late codes still count.
Exit tickets only open in class. They show what you can do on the day.
